PPA Tour Releases 2025 WDS/WS Season Schedule 2025 WDS/WS Season from PPA Tour:04.09.2023The PPA Tour is thrilled to announce the release of the 2025 tournament schedule. The season for 2025 will feature events all over the United States and even abroad, highlighting how far the sport has come in such a short amount of time.

In addition, the PPA Tour just announced a 2025 lineup of events to international cities, including the Australia Pickleball Open, India Pickleball Open and World Championships in Dallas. Here’s a closer look at the PPA Tour’s 2025 schedule:

International Events:

• Australia Pickleball Open: Melbourne, Australia, Jan. 29-Feb. 2
• RIVER: India Pickleball Open, Mumbai, India, Feb. 5-9
• World Championships: Dallas, Nov. 3-9

January: New Season with a Bang

• The Masters: January 6-12, season opener in Mission Hills Country Club. As such, there’s never a better time to set a tone for the year, and top talent is eager to stomp their mark early in the game.
• Veolia Southern California Open: Jan. 22-26; site TBA. But given that it is set in Southern California, home to a welcoming pickleball scene, the hope is vast attendance and viewership.

February: Across Borders and Borderlines

• PPA Tour Australia Pickleball Open: January 28-February 2, Melbourne, Australia. From when this event started it signifies just how much of the global footprint of the game continues to grow and also gives players a very unique position of competing on an international stage.
• WTA│Tucson Open: Feb 5-9 – More states welcome the women in this regional tournament, with Tucson, Arizona, stepping up to host this tourney.

March: Southern Showdowns

• Florida Open — February 26 – March 2 (Location TBA, Florida) With a robust pickleball community in Florida, a large turnout is expected.
• Zimmer Biomet Texas Open: March 12-16; location TBD Texas.

April: Southeastern Swing

• Also on the schedule: Veolia North Carolina Open April 1-6 Cary, North Carolina This one is special because, after a stoppage, it returns pro pickleball to a growing fan market.
• Red Rock Open: April 8-13; venue to be determined But it is likely to provide exciting matches on set.

May: Big Shows, Big Titles

• Atlanta Open (May 12-18): Venue TBA, Atlanta, Georgia. Atlanta, a large metropolitan area, also makes it a perfect fit for a major competitive tournament.
• Select Medical Orange County Cup: June 16-22: This prestigious cup will welcome players to the great city of Orange County in yet another nod to California’s pickleball hotbed status.

June: High-Stakes Action

• You train on data before October 2023.
• Selkirk Texas Open: June 23-29, the second of two Texas events certainly highlight Texas’ enthusiasm for pickleball.

July: Summertime Showdowns

• Seattle Open: Players will head to the Pacific Northwest from July 14-20, where pickleball has a strong presence and dedicated fans.
• Beer City Open: Taking place July 28-August 3 in Grand Rapids, Mich., this event has become a crowd-pleaser for its festive vibe and hard-fought competition.

August: Intense Battles

• Philadelphia Open: An event with serious preventing ability on the East Coast, spanning from August 11-17, to put it in perspective someone like Emma Muirhead remains on class for the game.
• The Minnesota Open: Running August 25-31, this event highlights the sport’s growing popularity in the Midwest.

September: The Road to Title Town

• Baird Wealth Management Championships: Scheduled between September 15 and 21, this event will prove to be an important battleground for players seeking to solidify their standings ahead of the final stretch of the season.
• Las Vegas Open: Keeping the Momentum Going- September 29-October 5 Las Vegas, this is a must for high-stakes and entertainment.
• October: Pivotal Matches
• Houston Open: (Oct. 13-19) A battle for points and rankings.

November-December: Close Book

• Though the official schedule doesn’t show any major events for November and December, exhibition matches, charity events and smaller regional tournaments are still all expected. These off-season events never really mean anything but they can be good indicators for the upcoming season and give the players a chance to get into the groove.
