Introduction: Streamline Healthcare Finance with Gainwell Technologies Gainwell Technologies is actively hiring for an experienced Business Analyst specializing in Healthcare Financials. This is a fully remote role operating out of India, offering a unique opportunity to support Gainwell’s Medicaid financial operations. Operating on a 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST shift, you will focus on analyzing business requirements, documenting functional designs, and enabling process improvements across complex financial systems.

Understanding the Role: What Will You Do? In this role, you will act as the crucial link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to translate Medicaid financial needs into actionable objectives.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Documenting business requirements related to healthcare financial processes, including Accounts Receivable, expenditures, and specific transaction flows (835, 834, capitation).

• Documentation Artifacts: Developing and maintaining Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and detailed process flows.

• Technical Translation: Utilizing tools like Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) software for analysis, tracking, and documentation.

• Process Optimization: Supporting business process re-engineering efforts and identifying key areas for workflow improvement.

• Validation & Defect Triage: Assisting with testing activities and validating requirements against technical deliverables.

(Note: This role is focused strictly on financial data analysis and process support; it does not involve direct access to Protected Health Information or Personally Identifiable Information.)

Eligibility Criteria & Required Skills

• Experience Level: 4 to 8 years of overall experience in a Business Analyst role, with a mandatory minimum of 1+ year in the Medicaid financial domain.

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.

• Work Mode & Location: Remote India (Associated with the Bangalore office). Shift timings are 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.

• Core Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of SQL for data-driven analysis. Experience with ALM requirement-tracking tools is highly preferred.

• Domain Expertise: Familiarity with healthcare financial systems, revenue cycle processes, and Medicaid programs.
