PLAYER OF THE MATCH:

What an incredible comeback by Delhi Capitals! After being down and seemingly out at 113/6, needing almost 100 runs from just 45 balls, it looked like they were heading for a certain defeat. But DC had other plans. Their fightback was ignited by a breathtaking knock from debutant Vipraj Nigam, who smashed 39 off just 15 balls, announcing himself in style. His fearless strokeplay gave DC a glimmer of hope, but it was Ashutosh Sharma who delivered the knockout punch. With sensational power-hitting, he tore into the LSG bowlers and turned the game on its head.

Even though the pitch offered some grip, DC skipper Rishabh Pant backed his spinners in the death overs. However, Ravi Bishnoi struggled with his lengths, conceding heavily in the 18th over. Shahbaz Ahmed made matters worse by bowling a full-toss right in the slot with just five runs needed, making it easy for DC to close out the game. Prince Yadav, who had earlier impressed with his pinpoint yorkers, lost his rhythm at the end, leaking 20 and 16 runs in his final two overs.

In the end, it was a remarkable victory for DC, who will take plenty of confidence from this thrilling chase. Meanwhile, LSG will be left stunned, wondering how they let the game slip away despite being in complete control for most of it.
