PLAYER OF THE MATCH|KRUNAL PANDYA:
When you play against so much crowd, you know what I said, I have to come down to my point. If I was to get out, had to be out from a good ball, happy that I could do the job. You just have to embrace how cricket is changing. The batters possess the type of skills to clear the ropes regularly. You have to put on your slippers now, I need to ensure I bowl it quick. So it is a changepace and changepaced is associated with pacers but I tried it too. (on his bouncer) Now if Jitesh knows it is wide yorker or bouncer what on the arm, there is no need to not use it if you have use in your armoury. BREAKING: “It’s been amazing, when I got into the team, I realised how much madness is there when you play for a team like RCB. Match-1|KKR VS RCB|RCB Won match
RAJAT PATIDAR:
There was pressure but it was a good day for me.’ If that continues, it will be a good day. It was pretty simple for me I can as much accept Suyash giving runs, at the end of the day, the wicket-taking bowler of ours, I backed him. (on Krunal and Suyash) Credit should be given to both the bowlers, they bowled from 13 overs, showed courage and determination. The mentality of picking up wickets was simply fantastic. (on Kohli) Yeah, it’s really nice to have a player like him and it’s a really good opportunity for me to learn from one of the greats of the game. (on his shot off Harshit over backward point) It was pre-determined shot, was looking to go over covers, the ball nipped back and it went automactically. Match-1|KKR VS RCB|RCB Won match

Phil Salt:
“Probably the partnership (talking about the most pleasing thing with the bat), we (Kohli and I) haven’t batted much together and to go out there and put a partnership was really pleasing. It is a track I understand well and I understand these guys (KKR) very well. Yes it did (the ball came on nicely in the second innings) and all you need to do is on the second part of your question, is stand still and hit the ball, it does make a different. Ajinkya Rahane:
13th over tak sab accha ho raha tha aur 2-3 wicket se momentum change ho gaya. Next few batters tried what they could but it didn’t workout. When I and Venky were batting we were saying 200-210 was possible but those wickets changed the momentum. In the powerplay the batters had a really good time because there was a little bit of dew. It (total) was under par. We were looking for 200+. We don’t want to dwell too much on this game but at the same we just want to focus on getting better in certain areas.
A statement win from RCB. They have smashed KKR away. Kohli exchanges a word with Harshit Rana as he leaves. Kohli is now waving a hand, indicating what was ailing his back and what had him grimacing. Back to the chase, the openers laid it out, with Salt and Kohli going hard during the powerplay. That and they got Varun for 21 in his opening over in the powerplay to sound alarm bells for KKR. RCB were 80/0 after 10 overs and even after Salt went Kohli showed no signs of giving things up. Padikkal did not go into overdrive but skipper Patidar gave aggression to the innings with a 16 ball 34 before all but sealing the game. A win with 22 balls. Match-1|KKR VS RCB|RCB Won match
